THE FOUNDING OF ARTIPOLO

ARTipolo was organized in the early part of 2014 by founding members Pol Mesina, Jr., Magel Cadapan, Joseph Clavita, Gerry Marasigan and Ted Camahalan, as an association of artists living

in Antipolo City. They coined the term ARTipolo to represent their hometown, and to project the common love of Antipolo City artists for their craft. They agreed to have fourteen founding members, and this was completed by October 2014. The founding and current President is Pol Mesina, Jr. As of November 2015, the Group has almost 70 members, and is still growing. The Antipolo City Government has officially designated ARTipolo as the artist group to lead the promotion of the tourism program of the city.
